Event : 4th Annual Weekend Getaway and Canoe Trip
Cost for Canoeing: $17/person or $55/family
When: June 15-17, 2012
*Recommend staying overnight Friday June 15, and Saturday June 16th
Where: Windermere Resort, Roach, Missouri. We will be canoeing on the Niangua river on a private section without the wild groups on Saturday, June 16th. Our outfitters will be on the river to help us thru any difficult spots.
Lodging: We will be staying at Windermere Conference Center
http://www.windermereusa.org/. The resort is very family friendly and also offers a pool, lake waterpark, hiking, fishing, mini golf, and other activities. There are a variety of options avaialble for lodging. Motel rooms are $55/night. They also have some family cabins, deluxe lodge rooms, and camping areas.

Food: ASH will provide breakfast on Saturday morning and Hot Dogs and S'mores for a cookout on Saturday night. Bring your own food for the rest of the trip.
Driving: It about 150 miles and takes about 3 1/2 hours to drive down so it's reccommended to stay overnight Friday and Saturday and head home on Sunday so you are not rushed.
Note: If family members arent interested in canoeing (or just want a day off) their are shops and other things to do that day nearby.
