Currently, we've just gone through a new IEP and are struggling to work through the process to make sure our kiddo get's his needs met. We're considering moving him to a Catholic School which had always been our plan when we had children. At 6 (7 in May) our son has made incredible progress so we're debating what would be best for him... SMSD would still have to provide services but what they are offering to keep him in his current school is pretty limited so it would be less. Does anyone else have a kiddo going to a Catholic or private school with services. We are on the KS side so we don't have the FIRE program? DeeDee

Hi, We have a 4 year old who is newly diagnosed. So we are getting ready to have another IEP done. We live in SMSD...did you have SMSD do the IEP (I am so not impressed with them) or did you get an advocate? We are considering Catholic school for our son as well...Just curious to hear your experiences with IEPS.
