As I'm planning the summer activities, I recall many parents wanting to get their kiddos together for playdates. My son, on the Spectrum just turned 7, is in a general ed classroom and will begin 2nd grade next year without a para! I also have a 3 1/2 year old boy, who is neurotypical, and does great with others on & off the spectrum. I live in the Mission, KS area but have a mini-van I'm not afraid to travel in... :) We do much better at playdates at the park right now... he can have a hard time leaving someone's home or having them leave ours... but he understands the timeline for playdates at the park. I'll be home this summer while looking for a job so post if you're interested. :) DeeDee
