With the help of caring individuals like you, one voice becomes part of a larger community – the voice of the Autism Society -The Heartland. Together we can become not only the voice of autism, but a resource for the autism community as a whole.

Membership is important and has many benefits:

Locally:

  • Access to member activities such as our Birthday Parties, Special Events, Special Socials;
  • Free or reduced charges for events open to entire autism community;
  • Access to grants and scholarships for families.

Nationally:

  • Access to all levels of AS’s web site;
  • AS’s quarterly magazine, the Autism Advocate, a leading source of information on autism-related issues;
  • Voting Privileges;
  • Valuable resource information and advocacy for autism-related issues.

If you live in the heartland, you will become a member of ASH automatically upon joining the national Autism Society.  To join BOTH our Local Chapter and National and receive all of the benefits listed above, go to Autism Society of America and follow the easy steps. Once we are informed that you are a member we will add you to our members only distribution list to receive special notifications and communications.

To join ONLY our Local Chapter, please mail a check for the annual fee of $25 to the following address and include "membership fees" in the memo line.  Make the check payable to "Autism Society - The Heartland":
