Autism Society-The Heartland (ASH) is the state affiliate of Autism Society of America for Kansas and Missouri. At ASH we are focusing on the whole person and the family. We are creating opportunities for training, self-advocacy, and support. In 2022 we plan to add more to our services for all ages and abilities. We will continue our A.W.A.R.E. activities, the "Just Like You-Autism" Film promotion, and Support Groups, as well as continuing to collaborate with area service providers.
Autism Society - The Heartland is a professional organization that uses person-first language throughout this website, and in all professional correspondence and advertising. However, Autism Society - The Heartland also recognizes many individuals prefer identity-first language and will always defer to an individual’s preference when requested in personal correspondence.

The Autism Society-The Heartland (ASH) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are fully funded by private donations, matching gift donations, and donations from events in the community. We do not receive State funding from Kansas or Missouri. Your donation is tax deductible.
