AMC Theatres Sensory-Friendly Films
AMC Theaters and the Autism Society of America have teamed up to bring families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment with the "Sensory-Friendly Films" program. In order to provide a more comfortable setting for this unique audience, the movie auditoriums will have lights brought up and the sound turned down. Families are able to bring their own snacks and no previews or advertisements are shown before the films. Additionally, audience members are welcome to get up, dance, walk, shout, or sing!
Our Sensory-Friendly Film program is available on the second and fourth Saturday (family-friendly) and Tuesday evenings (mature audiences) of every month. Please see our Calendar of Events for more updated dates and please check the local AMC locations below for times. Check out AMC's website here for more details and current films being shown.
