Who We Are

We Respect Your Privacy

The privacy of our families, donors and volunteers is a top priority. We are committed to protecting the information you give and we do not share individual data (names, addresses, demographics) without your consent. We never sell or give our mailing lists to other organizations or individuals.

How do we Use the Information we Collect?

When you participate in a Autism Society - The Heartland event, donate to the organization, sign up for the mailing list or request information about our services, Autism Society - The Heartland will ask for your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. We may also request some demographic information such as gender, ethnicity and information about your family. The demographic information may be used in the aggregate for reporting or grant writing purposes. We do not release individual data for reporting or funding purposes. If you request information or help for a particular individual and give permission, we may share the individual data with a parent support volunteer or another agency that may offer appropriate services.

From time to time we may send out email messages soliciting your support, prompting a call to action, or alerting you of Autism Society - The Heartland events. In addition, you may receive communications from us if you have contacted us for information or services.

By participating in an Autism Society - The Heartland event, donating to the organization, signing up for the mailing list, or requesting information about our services, and/or using our website, you consent to the collection and use of the information you provide to us as described above.

If you prefer not to receive any information from us, please contact us at 913-706-0042 or write to us at Autism Society - The Heartland, P.O. Box 4455, Olathe, Kansas, 66063. You may also notify us by email at info@asaheartland.org
