Santa America has partnered with Autism Society - The Heartland to help children with autism and their families have rewarding, inclusive experiences with Santa. This will be a drive-thru event December 6, 2020 at the time you select at Candy Cane Lane. Candy Cane Lane is located at the 7900 Block of Outlook Street, Prairie Village, Kansas 66208. Each house on the short block and culdesac have at least one 4' tall candy cane along the side of the street, plus various levels of other holiday decorations and lighting to ensure your photos will still have Christmas magic from your car!
Please have everyone in your car wear a mask and please stay in your car. We want to make sure Santa stays healthy for his Christmas Eve flight! Goodie bags for each car will be provided. Santa's "book of good boys and girls" includes a page for each child who attends this event, listing his/her birthday, friends, teachers, and what he/she wants for Christmas. You can be assured that Santa and all of his helpers will be accepting of any behavioral differences your children might have. All ages are welcome!
Santa likes to review the Letters to Santa before meeting with the families. Please email your 'Letters to Santa' to ashofficeasst@gmail.com with SANTA LETTER in the subject line. If you would like to mail the letter our address is: Autism Society - the Heartland, PO Box 4455, Olathe, KS 66063. If mailing, please mail no later than November 27th, to allow enough time to get through the USPS.
