Saturday Seminar

ASH continues its Saturday Seminar series with this next workshop:

Disability inclusion in the workplace: How can you benefit?
with Darla Wilkerson, Executive Director of Disability:IN Greater Kansas City

Work is of value to many people to provide for their basic needs, increase self-esteem, improve mental and physical health as well as enhance overall quality of life. Businesses have discovered that many people with disabilities who bring talent to the workplace are an untapped labor pool and they are working to improve their outreach, recruitment, hiring and retention of employees with disabilities. This session will provide information to people with disabilities and their family members about how Disability:IN Greater Kansas City is working in partnership with the business community to help them employ more people with disabilities and how people with disabilities can prepare for their future job.

Come join us to hear this great speaker, and bring along your questions! Sign up now on Eventbrite to learn how to join us on Zoom!
