JOCO Museum Members Only Event 
Autism Society - The Heartland's first Johnson County Museum event for members and their family will be Tuesday, September 28th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This is a members only private event for our families and individuals with autism that have a PAID 2021 membership.
All ages are welcome! This is a time for everyone to feel comfortable about going to the museum and not have to worry about your loved one. Johnson County Museum will have the following accommodations: Lower lights in the gallery and KidScape, Disable some interactives, Disable hand dryers, Provide temporary full-sized changing area, Provide low sensory room for visitors who need a break, Offer sensory bags available to be used during your visit, Provide additional signage to assist in navigation and aid in understanding museum rules and expectations. This is a great opportunity to meet other families in the autism community. We will have a merchandise table with lots of new autism trinkets available.
Not a member or need to renew your membership? You can still attend! You have the ability to join or renew your membership online prior to the event or at the event.
