5K/1K Fun Run (6th Annual)  

Looking for a fun way to give back with your family? Join Autism Society - The Heartland for our 6th annual 5K/1K Fun Run April 29, 2023 by attending in-person or virtually! This event gives participants the opportunity to run or walk a 5k or 1k course at Worlds of Fun, or your own path. In-person runners will take their mark as they proceed through and around Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, giving participants exclusive access and viewpoints of the park and their favorite attractions. This Kansas City 5K begins the first heat at 8:00 a.m. followed by the 1K at 8:15 a.m., before the park opens to the public. All registered 5K participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and be chip timed. All registered 1K participants will receive a t-shirt.

The first 300 full-price 5K participants who register will receive a FREE Worlds of Fun ticket to use after the race and during the regular 2022 season. This FREE Worlds of Fun ticket does not include Oceans of Fun. Participants will still be required to pay for parking when redeeming their FREE ticket. 

This race will benefit the lives of all affected by autism in Kansas and Missouri.
