Looking for a fun way to give back with your family? Join Autism Society - The Heartland for our 5th annual 5K/1K Fun Run on April 30, 2022 by attending in-person or virtually! This event gives participants the opportunity to run or walk a 5k or 1k course at Worlds of Fun, or your own path. In-person runners will take their mark as they proceed through and around Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, giving participants exclusive access and viewpoints of the park and their favorite attractions. This Kansas City 5K begins the first heat at 8:00 a.m. followed by the 1K at 8:15 a.m., before the park opens to the public. All registered participants (1k and 5k) are eligible to receive a t-shirt. Registered 5K participants are also eligible to receive a finisher’s medal and chip timing. Important: T-shirts and finisher's medals are only guaranteed for those who register by April 2, 2022.

If you have additional questions about the race, please visit our FAQs page.

This race will benefit all those connected to the Autism community in Kansas and Missouri.

The first 200 full-price 5K participants who register will receive a FREE Worlds of Fun ticket to use after the race and before September 6, 2022. This FREE Worlds of Fun ticket does not include Oceans of Fun. Participants will still be required to pay for parking when redeeming their FREE ticket. 1K registrants are not eligible to receive a FREE Worlds of Fun ticket.

Special pricing for the 5k and 1k is available to Autism Society - The Heartland families with PAID 2022 ASH Memberships. Please contact our office (913-706-0042) to get the special discount codes! If you want to learn more about becoming a member of Autism Society - The Heartland, please visit our website here.
