AWARE Nelson-Atkins VIRTUAL

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in partnership with the Autism

Society-The Heartland invites you to join us VIRTUALLY for an Adult Class --

Relating to Art.

“What happens when artists get together and collaborate? Throughout history, many artists have worked with like-minded individuals, and some have formed collectives or creative groups by working together.  During this virtual workshop, we will explore the works of art produced from Robert Blackburn’s print shop in New York along with the explosion of collective creativity during the Harlem Renaissance in the 1920s. Our class will conclude with a shared experience of creating collaborative digital drawings.”

Want to attend? Sign up by emailing Duffymp@umkc.edu. We have limited room for this class, so get your RSVP in early to reserve your spot! The Zoom link for this class will be emailed to you on the morning of Thursday, December 3.
